Artist in Residence Experience
The School Art Teacher invites Artist in the maker space while students continue their own work. The Art teacher will use artist as a model of how Artists utilize studio space/time. The artist would be welcome to introduce their own work and share their process with the students. This could be in the form of having students help create a project with the visiting artist, have the students imitate the visiting artist’s work, or have the visiting artist collaborate and fit their process into a concept the students are working on.

Collaboration for Max Integration
This format would involve the School art teacher, the classroom teacher, and the visiting artist teacher. The visiting artist teacher comes in to collaborate with both teachers to create an integrative unit/lesson involving techniques the artist teacher is knowledgeable in. This unit/lesson, led by all three teachers, would work to connect grade level concepts by integrating Art.

DOcumenting
This format would involve a promotion of school activities. The artist teacher would come in with expertise involving documenting and sharing an innovative lesson that the school/teacher would like to share with others. We would share free services to create blog(s), video(s), and other networking avenues. We would also teach faculty how to use these resources.
